Poderosa Machu Picchu

This is the classic picture of Machu Picchu. If anyone says that went there with a camera and didn’t take a picture like that, probably the person is lying and didn’t go to the lost city of the Incas (?). To get there you can stay the night in a small city close to the mountain called Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu Pueblo. To climb, you have to choose between paying a bus from the citadel to the entrance of the park or climb by foot, about 1 hour of stairs in the middle of the woods. The first time I went there, I slept at the city and went out to climb the mountain around 4 o’clock in the morning. It’s a big effort to climb on foot, but it gives an air of adventure which makes the visit to the lost city much more interesting than when you arrive by bus without much effort. The biggest mountain in the photo is called Huayna Picchu. It’s another big climb, but it’s worthwhile for those who have an adventurous spirit and want a different view of Machu Picchu.
